install ubuntu server 16.04

1. maak een virtuele machine 512MB RAM

   

    

2. VM: 16GB HD

   

    

3. VM: bridged network

   

    

4. start de installatie vanaf ubuntu16.iso

   

   

    

5. kies altijd voor engels op een server ...
   ... dan vind je makkelijker foutmeldingen terug ...

   

    

6. maar de plaats moet correct zijn voor de tijdzone

   

   

    

7. engels is niet compatibel met belgië, dan kiezen we noodgedwongen voor amerikaans ...

   

    

8. toetsenbord

   

   

     

9. het systeem laadt nu één en ander ..

11. een username en paswoord

    

    

     

12. encryptie van home-dir

28. lokale settings corrigeren
     
    Nu moeten we nog enkele settings voor belgië introduceren:

29. toetstenbord juist zetten
     
    Tik het volgende in:
     
    sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration
     
30. shutdown en kloon je server
     
    $ sudo init 0
     
    HOUD deze originele machine PROPER om 100 keer te klonen ...
